The general CCMS PTO meeting for the 2011-2012 school year was held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. in the school gymnasium in conjunction with the CCMS Open House. Principal Robin Board introduced the members of the PTO executive board who were present (Susan Schriefer, Judith Fender, Leah Griswold, , Terri Shimshock, Katie Wadington, Mary Beth Bird and Chair Cynthia Kohatsu) and those who were absent (Stephanie Sluder, Dana Clevenger, Alex Diez, and Erica Hodges).
Susan Schriefer reminded those present that the proposed PTO budget and the proposed amended bylaws were posted on the CCMS website/blog for review prior to the meeting.
Susan asked for a motion to approve the bylaws as amended. Greg Cheatham so moved, and Dane Griswold seconded the motion. All members were in favor of the proposed changes to the bylaws, no opposed. Bylaws were approved as written.
Susan asked for a motion to approve the proposed budget. Dane Griswold so moved, and Tracey Novak seconded the motion. All members were in favor of the proposed budget, no opposed. The budget was approved.
No further PTO business was conducted.
